This is a 1967 Baja Boot that was built, and owned by James Glickenhaus. Many people have seen this at The Quail Lodge Motorsports Gathering in Carmel, California. When most people think of James Glickenhaus, they think of Ferrari. Why is that, you ask? Because James Glickenhaus just happens to own a one-off Ferrari known as the P4/5. It was built for him specifically designed by Pinafarina costing an excess of $4,000,000. Now back to the car. James Glickenhaus bought this car at Pebble Beach roughly three years ago. This used to belong to former race car driver Steve McQueen. What this Baja Boot did was it experimented different off-roading conditions, and the designers of this car wanted to experiment to see if they could produce the most baddest off-road car in the world. As you can see, they obviously succeeded.
